The Bike Monkey crew served up a flat and fast course at the Place To Play park in Santa Rosa. This location has been on the menu and the course was similar. But an extended route on the east end and some small adjustments for it made the race even better.

And it was still hot. NorCal just keeps cooking. The fog broke just after the start of the Masters A Men’s race and it just got hotter and hotter. Dang.

Afterwards, the ice cream truck jingling around the parking lot made music to my ears. A frozen pineapple treat fulfilled my immediate caloric requirement.

Cleaned up, ate and drank some more, then got ready for the single-speed A race. That’s another story.
