It’s the new year and cyclocross is still going strong in NorCal. Drove down to Monterey still heavy from holiday cookies and celebrations for the 8th race of the CCCX Cyclocross Series. Brought the single-speed so I would suffer the most but keep it simple. The wet weather has made the Fort Ord course nice and tacky. Lots of fun ripping the berms and leaning the corners where normally that would send you in the sea of poison oak.

Fast fun group of single-speed racers, many heading down to Nationals in Austin shortly. Best of luck to all of them.
