I love the video! Thought you would like a heads up on this event—the major new initiative by the Napa County Bicycle Coalition. And yeah, it seems to capture all that makes Napa what it is: world class wine and food, and a rock star cyclist who is the best America has to offer….
I am reaching out because we’ve got an event that might be of interest to you or your readers, so I thought I’d forward the information to you. Basically, it’s a chance to ride with Levi Leipheimer for a day as part of a small group (no more than 25 permitted), eat some great food prepared by world-class chefs, and drink some amazing wine made by famous winemakers who love to ride – all while making a tax-deductible donation to Napa Bike.
Any chance you could write a little something about this to get it on more people’s radar? I know it has a hefty price tag but 100% of the proceeds go to the Napa Bicycle Coalition to ensure we can continue and accelerate our agenda. Napa has always received the smallest share of transportation funding, especially for bicycle infrastructure in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ironically, our roads are heavily impacted by visitors as the 3rd most visited destination in California. So we have a lot of work to do and need to add resources to get the job done.
I hope some of your followers and friends are interested in helping out. We just launched this last week and we’ve already got 7 of the spots taken.
