During the ride I mentioned in my previous post, a fire was burning across the valley above Donner Lake. A constant flow of fire planes were passing overhead on their way to the fire. The area is very dry and the amount of fuel for burning is a bit scary. Have to give a hand to the fire fighters up here. It’s a tough job keeping this place from going up in a huge bonfire.
